This piece is discounted because I forgot to put a shrink slab underneath it during the firing. When clay is fired in the kiln it shrinks, and this shelfie shelf leg was caught on my kiln shelf during that process. The classic Shelf on Shelf on Shelf problem! Due to being caught on the kiln shelf, one of the shelfie shelf legs warped a bit during the firing / shrinking process. It looks fine from the side with the dining chairs, but from the mirror side, you can tell it sticks out a bit more than I wanted it to.

This Shelfie is a piece of fine art but is also utilitarian! It is made of stoneware and food safe glazes. It is fully functional and equipped with a comfortable handle.

I call these works shelfies because they are not simply cup or a sculpture. They live in the ambiguous in between!

Holds approximately 450 ML/16oz

A Note on Color Representation:
We do our best to capture the true colors of our handmade ceramic pieces. However, colors may appear slightly different in person due to variations in lighting and the way screens display color. Screen brightness settings can also affect how colors look—higher brightness may make them appear more vibrant than they are in real life. Take a moment to adjust the brightness of your screen while looking at these items to give an example of color variation in real time. We appreciate your understanding and are happy to answer any questions!
